I was born in Seattle, Wahington August 3, 1952. At 7 while living in Bogota, the mother of one of my friends had works by Picasso around the apt. Another friend, son of Master Antonio Roda, and a good friend of my older brother was one of the sons of Trujillo muralist, my All 4 brothers are artists. I think I inherited the gift from our father Alvaro Marin-Herrera.

At age 23, a famous painter of the mid-western U.S. one day I asked permission for copying some of my abstract. For him, success in New York and other cities was also emphatic that he paid a Jurgo money for these works, not have known.

Self-taught, in 1986 one of my younger brothers showed me a tiny little picture made with Oleo-Plastilina in Manizales, Colombia. Since then I have not stopped to work. Until 2007, all my works I made with the fingertips and thumb of his right hand. But since 2007 until now I have used all kinds of spatulas, in addition to still use the yolks. At first the clay that were used so hard that some of my works almost bled me buds, but after much searching and experimenting I found the perfect dough. This is how the first time last year I managed to make the largest number of works in a single year. Everything has been a test point, wrong, and perfect. To the extent that I discovered several things. 1. how to make my paintings will last indefinitely, 2. Make the paint have life, achieved through the mastery of color to my sunset change as they do in nature. As the Maestro Marcio Diaz of Nicaragua. If I achieve the colors in your work, dominate the middle. Great friend and colleague and a wonderful painter. 3. I discovered how to create the mist produced by the waterfalls where the water hits the rocks. 4. Make absolutely straight lines (it took me 8 years to discover) that gave the start of my works of Spanish colonial cities in the Americas, and Venice, Italy. 5. I experimented with other ways to incorporate into my work, such as oils and other substances and media. 6. Achieve environmental spread so supremely pure oil seems fine. Now my three-dimensional works are more than ever. Also during 2007 the draw the largest number of works in charcoal, markers and pastels. which initially sold as Fernando Botero said, I came to sell books for 25 cents and today I still do but only those made in marker, charcoal maybe even hundreds of dollars, but what are my works in Oil-Plastilina, that is story in itself.

Globally the painters of the Oleo-Plasitlina, we contaditos, each of us has his own style and all have their beauty and their own merit. How would my uncle William, each table has its Malacca, or as they say in English, Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder.

The internet has allowed artists to exhibit plastic on our works worldwide absolutely free, which I did in days past. But how good a painter I am I have not the faintest idea of how it used pod. Unfortunately my first attempt to mount my work, Oleo-Plasticine, with an e address that does not exist, to make matters worse I can not remember the key and top it off I could not enter to clear the site of the Gueb (web), ustds. will understand that art is not really known painters of the past like this that tells of my adventures. Anyway here we go.

My debut was in October / 2007 at the home of our good friend Mario Cadavid in an open studio where we offered her home for Ricardo Campagnoli, (self-taught Colombian Oils) Marcio Diaz, (Professor of Art Nica in Acrylics) Toño Rodriguez -Jimenes, (sculpture, Venezuela in Ferro-Guadua) Jaime Olaya, (Professor of Art, Colombian Oils and watercolors, sculptures, cartoonist) there make up the group "TRAZOZ" At home, Mariela, she got us to Univision, which filmed my work in particular one called Villa Amalfi, and one that is Akaka Falls.   Then in July 2008 Mariela got us another opportunity for SeaFair event in Tacoma, for the arrival of the ship Gloria, Colombia in Tacoma, WA, and now worldwide through Artelista.com, on that occasion we could only be Marcio Diaz, Monica Wagner. There, a reporter for Spanish regional press took photos of my work, and a couple of ladies from Univision promised us a profile on the two occasions hispanos.En artists comments from people is the surprise, knowing that my work has been made to the Oil-Plastilina, other comments have been would you do me a picture of a picture, I feel like pudiense yes box you enter Cartagena de Indias, Walled City, or to see Taganga Bay 2 The sky changes colors, a gentleman mentioned that he contruía very large and luxurious buildings that was responsible for making the interiors of the buildings and me depronto hinted that he would like to use any of my works to beautify the surroundings. Others become world famous, someone said, if I mastered the color as you do voice would dominate my environment. Yesterday I received an email where I am invited to be part of Art Walk in Issaquah. Will perform works bring cheap, and a few of which are invaluable for serious investors only like to see them, I mean the Oleo-Plastilina. In December, the Director of Latino Cultural Magazine of Seattly promised that I would an interview to promote my work, too suggested the possibility that I come to get a Grant.

One last note, I do not draw sketches when I do my work to the media, just memorize the ECENA, or photo and after many hours of looking at what plasmaré beginning, but so is how I want you to have spent hundreds of hours, get up all with the knife, and start from scratch!
